2019 has been super crazy for me so far. In addition to adding more items to my Etsy shop for Ready to Ship items, I have also been working really hard on new designs. Beginner crochet patterns will be available here on my blog but I am also adding patterns to my Etsy shop for purchase on more advanced patterns. 1 skein of Caron X Pantone: Peach Blush Parfait

6mm hook: my favorite is the Furls Crochet Odyssey

Large eyed blunt needle

Scissors

Size:

Teen/Small Woman

Stitches (Abbreviations):

Ch: Chain

HDC: Half Double Crochet

DC: Double Crochet

Sk: skip

BLO: back loop only

Pattern:

We will be switching colors all throughout. Colors are numbered on the tag that comes with the yarn so don’t lose that.

Band:

Using color 14-1210:

1. Ch7, HDC across, ch 1 turn
2. HDC in first stitch, BLO HDC next 4, HDC in last, Ch 1 turn
3. Rows 3-40: repeat 2.
4. Bring both ends together and slip stitch in back loop only across. This will join the two ends completing the band.

Body:

We will now work in rounds.

Attach color 14-4809

1. Ch 1, HDC x 60 evenly around band. Slip stitch to first HDC.
2. Ch 1, * SC, sk 2, 5DC in next, sk 2* repeat around. Slip stitch to first HDC

Attach color 14-1219

• Ch 1, * 5DC in first, sk 2, SC, sk2* repeat around. Slip stitch to Ch 1.

Attach color 18-1633

• Ch 1, *SC, sk2, 5DC in next, sk2 * repeat around. Slip stitch to Ch1.

Attach color 12-2902

• Ch 1, * 5DC in firt, sk 2, SC next, sk 2* repeat around. Slip stitch to ch1.

Attach color 14-4809

• Ch 1, *SC, sk2, 5DC in next, sk2 * repeat around. Slip stitch to Ch 1.

Attach color 14-1219

• Ch 4, sk 3, *SC, sk 2, 5DC, sk 2 * repeat around. Slip stitch to first chain.

Attach color 18-1633

• Ch 3, sk 3, * SC, sk 2, 4DC, sk 2 * repeat around. Slip stitch to first chain.

Attach color 12-2902

• Ch 3, sk 3, * SC, sk 1, 3DC, sk 2* repeat around. Slip stitch to first chain.

Attach color 14-1219

• Ch 3, sk 3, * SC, sk 1, 2DC, sk 1 * repeat around. Slip stitch to first chain.

Attach color 18-1633

• Ch 2, sk 2, * DC, sk 1, SC, sk 1 * repeat around. Slip stitch to first chain.

Tie off.

Turn hat inside out. Using blunt needle, weave yarn in and out around last round. Pull tie to close up the hat and then tie off and weave in all ends of all yarn.
